Restorative Yoga(Misa)

Yoga of supreme relaxation. It gives you more benefit of physical and mental rest.
You can fully entrust your body onto props and feel complete loose body and mind.
Our emotion and nerves usually are stimulated in daily life. Don't you want to have a time for being calmed and comfortable without feeling any tension?

Restorative Yoga heals your body and mind get stress from busy modern life and balances them for better function of body system.
As you use the props, you can adjust your alignment for your body needs.
Anyone can join and enjoy this class.

Restorative Yoga(Rumi)

Restorative Yoga is known as " ultimate relaxation". Heal yourself after working hard for the week. This is the best class for Friday night. Your body and mind will be released from tiredness and stress and you will experience deep relaxation while you lying on the props with comfortable alignment without any tension in your body. We always experience stress in this busy life and it makes our breath shallow. Loosen your body and get balanced and calmed mind. Enjoy the " ultimate relaxation" with smell of aroma oil and feeling calm and peaceful energy. ( This class is for all levels. We must decline the entry to pregnant women )

Yin Yoga (Saya)

Level:All Level | Momentum:★ 12:30〜14:00 /Instructor:Saya

Yin Yoga has an effect on connective tissues for the Yang Yoga works on the muscles.

When connective tissues atrophy, the excursion of bones get limited and worsen the flexibilities. Excessive Yang practice does not only make muscles tight and limits the excursion of bones but also worsen the flow of Chi, Blood, and Water.

In Yin Yoga practice, you entrust your body into the gravity and the weight of body with all the muscles loosen to be relaxed with slow breathing for 3 to 5 minutes.

Every poses work on meridian channels.

Better energy flow improves blood and water circulations and your breath becomes naturally long and deep.

You will experience the clear mind in half asleep state..

Yin Yoga (Ikuyo)

 We focus on fascia and organs in this Yin Yoga class.

Tighten fascia brings physical disorder as well as worsen flexibility and the weakness of organs function affect our body.

Every poses stimulates meridians. 

As we take a time for taking each poses, we maintain our body, flexibility, beauty, and health.

Facia Therapy

 Have you ever thought that “Fascia” is one of concern about  body distortion

”Fascia” is known as “ The second skeletal” and paid the most attention to now. It has a roll to keep correct body alignment and control the motor function of body.

Fascia is one of the factor of stiff shoulder, back pain and wrong alignment in yoga practice. In this class, we release fascia with Yin Yoga poses.

We also apply anatomical approach and some kinds of props include tennis balls to stretch fascia. All levels are welcome.

Aroma Relax(Rumi)

This is the therapeutic relaxing class to balance your body and mind with Aromatherapy and Yoga. 

Our body and mind continue to change at every moment.

PMS, insomnia, stress, physical and mental tiredness, emotional ups and downs...

Our body and mind connect strongly, and when we have these physical conditions, it's the sign to take care of ourselves more.

In this class, we face ourselves deeply, feel our body sensation, relax and practice to love our body by using the method of Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Nidra and Restoratives Yoga.

We also use original relaxing aroma oils which our therapist blend every time depends on season, whether, class theme and student's condition. In this way, you can practice to notice your body and mind sensation and how to take care of yourself. (For all level.)

Meridian Yoga(Yuka)

We offer you to some movement which combines the seasonal meridian stimulation and Hatha yoga in this Meridian Yoga class.
Recommended for everyone who is interested in trigger point, meridian and hatha yoga.

Gentle Flow (Sawa)

This class named “Gentle Flow” will be focusing on movement and breath together with Yang energy. During the chilly season, we easily get cold body and stiffness. Let’s stimulate blood circulation and balance our body by the asanas charging energy on our body and mind.

Yoga brings us full of energy by breaking the tense and let them flow.

Let the whole body relaxed at the end of the day and have a good quality of sleep.   

Basic Hatha (Naomi)

Hatha Yoga method; especially in the Sun Salutation, we can feel (get??) completely different results if we take poses with the right breath or not.
 
This is the simple Hatha Yoga class that we can feel the nice and good connection between breathing and movements.


Going with detailed explanation in each poses, anyone who is new to yoga can take this class in confident.

 
 

Hatha Yoga(Kumi)※Sat

You have probably learned the basic asanas of yoga through many yoga classes. And..aren’t you acting like you are understanding about asanas well and holding them? Or you might hold the asanas only by using your flexibility.

 

In this class, we first practice the basics and move on to more challenging poses gradually. From BASIC to ADVANCE. Any beginners are welcome to join this class and for any yoga practitioners as well. This class is the time of creating your asanas with bright future and without any injuries.

Anusara Yoga(Masumi)

Anusara yoga is a modern-day Hatha yoga system founded by John Friend. Anusara means “flowing with grace,” “going with the flow,” “following your heart.”

Anusara yoga, based on a Tantric philosophy with universal principles of alignment, is a popular and fast-growing style. It focuses on experiencing bliss and joy in your yoga practice and your daily life.

Many Anusara yoga teachers teach in the vinyasa style with holding some (key) poses for a longer time.  A flow practice helps to connect you to your breath and the breath serves as a guide in your asana practice.  Vinyasa flow warms up the body and links the focus of the class to the physical expression. Holding the poses allows for more explanation of the key alignment principle and the linking of the spiritual intention to your body.   Due to the Universal principles of Alignment, Anusara yoga is designed for students of any level or ability. There are over 250 poses included in Anusara Yoga but there are no set postural routines.  Most yoga teachers end the class with a meditation/relaxation.


When you practice with an intention and intelligent awareness of the body and mind, the groundwork is laid down to structurally shift and improve.  A regular Anusara yoga practice makes the body stronger and more flexible, heals injuries faster and evens out imbalances that naturally exist in the body. The heart and mind are invited to join along this evolution and become more resilient and softer, peaceful and joyous, happy and balanced.

Ashtanga Yoga (English)(Rachel)

The class content is based on the primary led sequence.  Students are lead to practice the sequence together starting from Suryanamaskara, then the standing sequence and the sitting sequence, and lastly the finishing sequence.  The class fits for both beginners and consistent practitioners of Ashtanga.  As verbal instructions of the postures and hands on adjustment will be given, and there are demonstrations and certain postures elaboration if it’s needed.  We practice the same sequence every time, so you will get more familiar and confidence with the practice when you practice more.  It’s a dynamic practice with lots of movement, so prepare to sweat and get energized! 

Sivananda Yoga (Syousei)

Sivananda is one of Indian traditional yoga styles founded by Swami Sivananda.

You will experience the atmosphere like an asulam in India.

We chant mantra beginning and the end of the class to get the flow of prank better.

Purify body and mind with breathing method followed by conditioning body and mind with Suryanamaskar and some asana.
We take Savasana  for relaxation between poses.

Enjoy genuine relaxation in last Savasana at the end after repetitive construction and relax.

 

If you are practicing Sirsasana or if you do not have enough yoga experience, please join this enjoyable class.

Hatha Yoga (Mineko)

 Feeling the best position in each asana requires knowing well about the characteristic of your body.

Practice basic things as a preparation before deepen the posture.

Vinyasa Yoga(Kumi)

 "Flow" is not only about movement but also about loving body and releasing it.

The original purpose of Hatha Yoga is to live longer in good health.

This Yoga class remind you how to love your body with using Hatha Yoga as a tool to maintain our body condition depend on season or weather.
Our body is holding stress while we do not realize. Let's move our body and release it!

Hatha Yoga(Kumi)※Thu

We are focusing on each asanas respectfully with props by listening the voice of the body in this class. Any yoga instructors and beginners will be able to back to basics through this class. You will know yourself much deeper through touching others’ body and gaining the awareness of the body.

Ashtanga Led Class(Rachel)

Level:All Level | Momentum:★★★ 8:00-9:30 /Instructor:Rachel

Mysore class is the traditional way of Ashtanga yoga taught by KPJAYI in Mysore, India. Student is taught individually under the guidance of the teacher, to learn each asana and then the sequence gradually.  Student is required to memorize the sequence and practice with Tristhana which are the three points emphasized in Ashtanga yoga; breathing, posture and the gazing point.  What you need to practice Mysore is basically yet the most importantly is consistence and patience. Over day by day consistent practice, strength and stability is build up slowly, and conciousness results to link your body and mind.  Mysore is for practitioners who are looking for a deepen and a long term self practice system.  We practice six days in a week, except moon day we take rest.

Vinyasa Yoga(Rachel)

Vinyasa is a dynamic flow practice with the emphasize of synchronization of breathing and movement.  The class contents cover varies of flow sequence set by the teacher.  Usually start with a gentle warm up and a cool down relaxing session at the last. In between, there would be sets of flow practice with different parts of body involved.  With a steady breathing rhythm, you will feel the smoothness and stability even in motions.  The class is for practitioners who have basic yoga foundation, variation and modification will be given if it’s needed.

Vinyasa Yoga(Mineko)

Body Movement

In this class we focus on creating a symmetrically balanced body by relaxing and softening stiff joints and muscles, and being aware of discomfort of the body and misaligned conditions.

Spiral Flow

Level:All Level | Momentum:★★★ 12:30~14:00 /Instructor:Ryota

?We connect each asanas with circle motion, move arms, legs , and whole body slowly in circle and spiral. It is important to have good alignment in asanas, but it is necessary to control your body even when you don't take asanas to keep your body flexible and healthy in your daily life. To feel the flow in your body, you need to move your body smoothly like a water flow . We also will practice basic skills in this class to connect each asanas smoothly.
